About the InterWrite School Suite

The InterWrite School Suite is a collection of interactive learning products, including the SchoolBoard, an interactive whiteboard; the SchoolPad, a wireless pad that gives the teacher mobility while teaching with electronic whiteboard capabilities; and InterWrite PRS, a classroom response system.

The InterWrite SchoolBoard is a durable, easy-to-use electronic whiteboard that comes with InterWrite annotative software for Windows® or Macintosh (Mac), and is designed to inspire students by turning classroom lessons into interactive experiences. The SchoolBoard, featuring electromagnetic technology, comes with a Bluetooth wireless option and is available in 60-inch and 77.5-inch diagonal sizes.

The InterWrite SchoolPad allows teachers to control their computer with a connected projector from up to 300 feet away. The wireless pads, which come with InterWrite annotative software for Windows or Mac, can be used with the InterWrite SchoolBoard, or teachers can project the computer image to any surface to create an interactive whiteboard. In addition, up to seven Pads can be connected to the same computer for even greater class participation.

InterWrite PRS is the most widely adopted classroom response system in the higher education market, with more than 400,000 users at more than 600 campuses around the world. InterWrite PRS improves the ability of teachers, from elementary schools to universities, to accurately and instantly assess student comprehension of the lesson, and easily grade and record student results. Developed using Java, InterWrite PRS is a stand-alone application, built with a standards-based approach, that provides cross-platform compatibility for both the Windows and Mac OS X operating environments.
