GTCO CalComp Announces InterWrite PRS Web Registration Applet

Free Applet Simplifies Managing Roster Data for Classroom Response System

August 23, 2004—GTCO CalComp, Inc. announced today the release of their web-based registration applet for their InterWrite PRS classroom assessment system. This application, available free of charge for users of InterWrite PRS, is hosted on the customer’s local web server and simplifies the management of class rosters for PRS users. Using this applet, students can enter their name (or look up their name in a listing) and enter their Transmitter ID online. In addition, instructors, using an administrative login, can manage their PRS roster by adding or deleting names, importing class rosters from other applications, and downloading completed rosters and using them in the InterWrite PRS software.

InterWrite PRS Web Registration applet is available for use with the company’s InterWrite PRS (Personal Response System), formerly Educue PRS, the most widely adopted audience response system in the higher education market with over 250,000 users at over 300 universities.
