InterWrite Software
Version 3.0 Released—Enhancements
Simplify User Interface September 13, 2001—GTCO CalComp, Inc. announced today the release of their new InterWrite Software Version 3.0. This new software release is an upgrade from the previous Version 2.0, shipped with their MeetingBoard and MeetingPad products, part of the InterWrite Meeting Suite. InterWrite Software allows users to annotate, change or highlight any program or presentation on any windows application. The changes can then be saved and e-mailed with or without a viewer. This allows anyone to view the notes, even if they do not have InterWrite Software installed on their computer. “Our objective is to provide our users the most robust, yet intuitive and intelligent meeting software on the market,” says Rob Meissner, VP of marketing. “We understand that for our InterWrite MeetingBoard and MeetingPad to be valuable tools, everyone needs to be able to utilize the software with little or no training. After all, what CEO is going to spend two hours trying to learn how to use their whiteboard? Version 3.0 provides all your options on a single menu bar that can be moved or even hidden. And by following a standard Microsoft look and feel, we have improved upon the most intuitive software on the market today.” The new InterWrite Software Version 3.0 offers more features than its predecessor, including a feature to hide the menu bar—just like you can with the taskbar in Windows, one click e-mail capabilities to send meeting notes out before attendees even get back to their desk and more ways to customize the menu bar. GTCO CalComp's new software release is upgradeable for free to those who already own it. It retails at $250 otherwise, and ships free with the InterWrite MeetingBoard and InterWrite MeetingPad. Founded in 1975, GTCO was awarded a patent for the invention of the world's first absolute-position electromagnetic digitizing technology. Since then, GTCO CalComp has produced and now supports over one million input systems in fifty countries around the world, sold under some of the most recognized brand names in the peripherals industry. With offices in Columbia MD, Scottsdale AZ and Vienna Austria, GTCO CalComp continues to focus on developing input peripherals that dramatically improve individual and group productivity worldwide. |
