GTCO CalComp releases new versions of InterWrite Software for Windows® and Macintosh®

InterWrite Software continues to add enhancements and functionality to meet the growing needs of educators, trainers and 
presenters worldwide.


October 31, 2003–GTCO CalComp, Inc. announced today the release of InterWrite Software, Version 4.0 for Windows and Version 2.0 for the Mac. These newest releases of InterWrite include a number of enhancements and support for over nine languages, with more on the way. InterWrite is available to download online, for customers upgrading from previous versions.

“InterWrite Software represents our ongoing commitment to our customers and our desire to continually deliver valuable benefits to our users, while maintaining the most intuitive annotation software on the market,” says Rob Meissner, VP of Marketing. “With these newest versions, we have simplified the software interface, while at the same time added several impressive new features.”

New features of InterWrite Software include:

The ability to rotate and resize objects, such as pictures, annotations, etc.
Additional pen shapes, such as arrows, filled squares and circles.
A zoom feature with four levels of magnification.
Tool palettes that can be pinned for easy access.
A full-screen calendar page.
The ability to program "SoftKey" buttons on the InterWrite SchoolPad and MeetingPad. Users can program up to nineteen SoftKeys to open specific applications or Web sites, or to access specific InterWrite functions. New downloadable templates and blank inserts make it easy to maintain a record of SoftKey assignments. 

InterWrite Software is available from GTCO CalComp or your local reseller. Trial versions and updates for existing users are available online to download free of charge.
